Our mission is to provide pet therapy for non-profit organizations such as schools, hospitals, libraries, nursing homes, and hospice care facilities.  We also visit for-profit companies.  If you are a for-profit company requesting a visit, we kindly ask that you make a donation to our organization. Donations allow us to improve our organization and cover administrative costs. In 2024, we have a major project planned which involves a much-needed, long overdue website refresh which will allow us to better serve the people we visit.  Thank you for your support!

Pet therapy offers a plethora of physical, mental, and emotional benefits for people of all ages. The physical benefits of pet therapy include decreasing stress levels, blood pressure, pain, and fatigue. Emotionally, pet therapy can help with fear, isolation, loneliness, and grief.  One of the best benefits a person can experience from pet therapy is the increase in energy levels, self-esteem, and mood.

Our Faithful Paws Pet Therapy Teams visit hospitals, hospice facilities, nursing homes, schools, libraries, and many other types of facilities. All team members (both humans and pets) have attended and successfully passed a training class, and all pets have received their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate.

Faithful Paws Pet Therapy Teams visit facilities on a set schedule, and Teams are also available for one-time visits. Please see below for information on how to apply to become an approved facility,  how to request an ongoing or one-time visit, and important guidelines for our facilities.

Apply to Become an Approved Facility

If you have never been a Faithful Paws approved facility or you have not had visits at your facility since 2021, you will need to complete an application. After we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule your visit(s). You will be able to indicate if you are requesting a one-time or ongoing visit on the application.

IMPORTANT: When you click the button below to apply to become a facility, you will see instructions regarding entering the facility name in the First Name field on the first screen of the application after you create a username and password.  Please make sure you put the facility name in the First Name field and not your name.  The last name field will be "N/A".  Your name will be entered on the following screen.
