How long I’ve been a therapy animal: 27 months
I enjoy all my visits but the best is when I visit the children at Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC and get to be on my back and they give me a belly rub. One time there was this very small boy at the hospital and I knew he was not real sure about me because I'm so big. So, my mommy, Denise, had me lie down and I rolled on my back and this little boy smiled and slowly moved over and petted my tummy. We were both so happy. I think he knew I was just a big and lovable guy.
I was found as a stray and ended up in the Royce City Shelter outside of Dallas. No one came to claim me. I was there about a month when this wonderful couple, Dell and Denise Bryant, adopted me. My best day ever. I love my sister, Sassy, and my kitty, Boots. I am now a pet therapy dog and it is wonderful since I'm just this big gentle guy who loves to be loved on. I especially like to lean against someone and have them give me kisses and belly rubs. What a great life.
