Lynn Morris
Board Member
Lynn Morris has been a dedicated member of Faithful Paws since 2017. Having lived all over the world, her extensive experience serving on boards and in leadership roles has prepared her well to serve as Board President from 2023-2025.
Bringing her Shih Tzu, Jazz, to a foreign country required faith, perseverance, and unwavering dedication to securing the veterinary care required. Serving abroad also demanded a heightened awareness of her surroundings and an appreciation for cultural differences. Over 38 years of expatriate assignments, Lynn relied on her strategic thinking, leadership, communication skills, and positivity to navigate both the challenges and the exciting opportunities of life abroad with a growing family.
Back home in Houston and motivated by her deep love for animals, she trained as a veterinary technician, which strengthened not only her understanding of animal health but also her passion for helping pets thrive. The opportunity to participate in pet therapy ignited a new passion—one that continues to inspire her in her role as Executive Director of Faithful Paws Pet Therapy. With laser focus, she is committed to sustaining the organization’s legacy of unconditional love while guiding it toward a sustainable future.
Lynn’s passion for service—and her firsthand understanding of the powerful impact therapy pets have on people’s lives—is the most fulfilling aspect of her work. Supporting volunteers is both challenging and deeply rewarding. Watching new teams grow through Faithful Paws’ excellent training program is, in her words, “why I do what I do.”
Lynn is a team leader and makes many member visits on behalf of the organization—more than 850 to date. These experiences range from public speaking engagements to visiting individuals in their final moments of life.
She also competes in agility trials with her two shelties, Presto and Rhapsody. She is an avid bridge player, an accomplished cook, a tennis enthusiast, a pianist and church choir member, and she enjoys graphic design.
