Lien and Andale
Member Since:
2019
Pet's Breed:
Labrador
Andale was a puppy-in-training for Guide Dogs for the Blind when he was career-changed due to sensitivity with loud noises. He loves working and interacting with people, so we looked into opportunities that would still allow him to do that. We found that pet therapy was the perfect fit! We are so grateful to give back to our community, one tail wag and paw shake at a time.
Where We Visit:
Houston Methodist Hospital, The Gardens of Bellaire, and various One Time Visits
Andale loves humans of all ages, from young children to the elderly. He knows no strangers and loves to sit by your side to receive pets and belly rubs. His superpower is “roll over” but caution! As a 90-pound dog, we have to make sure he has plenty of room to roll. He also enjoys shaking paws and “speaking” on command. His bark may sound mighty, but he’s a gentle giant through and through.
