When I lost my job in 2020 like many others, we purchased a “COVID dog”. I had a vision to train her to become a therapy dog. I started working with her and by the end of the year, she passed her CGC. Our trainer told me about the Faithful Paws organization, and we applied in the Spring of 2021.

Lola is a show-stopper because of her size, long coat, and markings. She looks like a big teddy bear! I can hardly walk through the hallways without getting stopped every 20 feet. People spontaneously smile and laugh. They just want to touch her. It’s pure joy. Then they get to experience her gentle spirit, and it melts their hearts and their worries, even if it’s just for a little while.
