Marshall, Jan, and Ellie Ann

Ellie Ann is just three years old and has become a wonderful therapy dog. Once she is inside a facility, she will demonstrate her willingness to sit next to the residents and allow them to pet her. She will even lay on their feet. Her demeanor is very good and she seems to smile, making residents that are often comprised with health concerns, comfortable and engaged. Through the incredible power of touch, residents that have been non-verbal have actually begun to speak and even reflect on dogs in their earlier lives. While we had heard of the power of therapy dogs with individuals in need, watching firsthand the response Ellie Ann generates from the residents is truly moving and extremely rewarding!
