I love volunteering, but it’s always been my dream to volunteer with a dog. When I adopted Jazzy in November 2020, she didn’t know it…but becoming a therapy dog was her future.
It took some time, and a lot of training, but Jazzy transformed from a dog that sometimes sits on command, to passing the CGC test!
Once all of her paperwork was in order, I reached out to Seven Acres, and asked if we can come for a visit. They told me that the only way to do so was with Faithful Paws.
So, here we are!

Seven Acres
Jazzy’s superpower is that she loves people. Most dogs love people, but Jazzy loooves people. On top of that, what amazes me is how much she understands her surroundings. Whenever we go to Seven Acres, it’s like she knows why she’s there. She calmly sits on laps, lets everyone pet her, and when we visit people in rooms, she lays down quietly in their beds beside them.
I’m so happy that I adopted a pup who, turns out, loves to volunteer as much as I do!
